The decision of installing CCTV Cameras in Poonch town was appreciated by various social, political and religious organizations of Poonch. However few of them are demanding more cameras to be installed in Poonch as 17 cameras were insufficient to monitor whole town as now Poonch is spreading day-by-day. SSP Poonch Shamsheer Choudary, when contacted said “We are going to install 17 CCTV cameras in Poonch town and for that we have commissioned a control room at PCR Poonch. Soon the system will start functioning and help as a backbone to minutely monitor Poonch town,” he added.
