A Leicester police officer was flagged down Monday, Dec. 10, by a contractor at the Leicester Walmart who said their iPad had been stolen while he was working, police said.
"The iPad was equipped with tracking software, so the officers were able to track the iPad to Church Street in Cherry Valley," Police Chief Jim Hurley said.
The contractor gave officers a description of the female suspect, who was with two men inside the Walmart, as well as a description of her vehicle, police said.

Police identified the woman as Zanita M. Banda, 32, of 253 Main St., Cherry Valley. Banda was charged with larceny over $250. She was arraigned at North Brookfield court, and her case is pending.
